According to the Executive Vice Chairman of Lagos Central Mosque/Bashorun of Lagos, Alhaji Sikiru Alabi Macfoy, special prayers will be held for Sheikh Abou’s centenary birthday at the Lagos Central Mosque which will be followed by a reception at Harbour Point Hall, Victoria Island. Among the dignitaries expected, Alhaji Macfoy, said are Sultan of Sokoto/President-General, Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar; All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Oba of Lagos Oba Rilwan Akiolu.
