THE Countess of Wessex is self-isolating after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus.
Sophie, 55, came into contact with the person earlier this week – who later tested positive for the bug.
It is understood Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home.
The last time the mum-of-two was seen at a public engagement was on October 4 when she ran the first 1.5 miles of their Virtual London Marathon along the Long Walk, Windsor Great Park.
It’s not the first time that the Royal Family has been impacted by coronavirus.
Prince Charles, 71, tested positive for coronavirus earlier this year.
