Bnlpulse has gathered that Veteran Yoruba actor, Gbolagade Akinpelu, popularly known as Ogun Majek, is dead.
The President of Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr Latin, confirmed his death.
The deceased who had a few months ago appealed for financial support for heart surgery, died Thursday morning at his Imalefalafia, Oke-Ado, Ibadan home.
Latin sid, “Yes, he died this morning and our colleagues in Oyo State are there to do all necessary things.
“Everybody knows he was a good man. He was a thorough professional. Our members, both in Nigeria and abroad, including other Nigerians, did all they could to save his life; but unfortunately, we lost him.”
