Breaking: Nigerian Ex-Governor Dies of Covid-19 Complications

The Immediate Past Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has reportedly died of Covid-19 complications at the age of 70.

Ajimobi who was recently appointed as the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress by the National Working Committee of the party had been down with Coronavirus complications.

The former lawmaker fell ill after testing positive for Coronavirus and was reported to be in a critical condition before the time of his death.

He ruled Oyo State for eight years before he was appointed by Adams Oshiomhole as the Deputy National Chairman (South-West) of APC.

Ajimobi was a former Managing director at the National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell Petroleum Company.
