The Chief of Staff to the Borno State Governor, Dr Babagana Wakil, is dead.

A statement by the spokesman for the governor, Mallam Isa Gusau, announced his death on Wednesday.

The statement from Gusau read in part, “Jana’iza (funeral) of the late CoS, Dr Babagana Wakil, is to hold 4 pm today at his extended family residence in Shehuri North, Maiduguri.”
