The Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN), Nigeria’s governing body for Professional fashion designers in Nigeria, has announced the 2021 FADAN Mart, and fashion art exhibitions themed ‘Founder’s Edition’ (Mrs. Shade Thomas Fahm), scheduled to hold at Balmoral Events Hall, Federal Palace Hotel Victoria Island Lagos on the 28th of November 2021, between 9 am-8 pm.

‘‘Titled, ‘Founder’s Edition’ and inspired by Mrs. Shade Thomas Fahm’s vision, her love for detail, simple elegance, and modern glamour-a perfect unity of fashion and beauty; the decision to hold the exhibition was reached by the Association, with a view to marking the end of the year sales for designers whilst is also strategically celebrating the vision, accomplishments and enduring legacy of the Association’s dear and treasured Founder, whose years of influence, commitment, and good works brought the profession into the reckoning.’’ Publicity Secretary, Adejare Adejobi, said.

In his words, ‘’the Fashion Exhibition would have emerging designers showcase their latest collections on the runway, whilst it would serve as an opportunity for emerging and established designers to showcase their collections to the world and meet prospective clients. We hope to have both local and international media coverage.’’

President, Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN) Kola Kuddus also said, ‘’we also plan to have a Fashion panel session which would see established and seasoned Professional Fashion Designers dissect contemporary issues, share success nuggets and their experiences on how emerging designers can grow their brands to become global brands.’’
